Twins is definitly different then having a singleton, that's for sure. At the same time, I can't imagin having one without the other. I was a little terrified going into this whole twin thing at first, but it's actually gone way better then I ever expected.
They have both taken to nursing like champs, and I've been able to nurse them at the same time to cut down on time. Sleep..... non existant. But thankfully Daniel helps out with changing diapers, so I dont have to get in and out of bed a million times. We have our routine down well. I was blessed to have Daniel take 2 weeks off of work to stay home and help out. It was amazing to say the least.
People from our ward were so good to use bring food. It was such a big help. Even with Daniel home, by the end of the day, the last thing I wanted to do was think about making food.
Just like with Lyla, I don't like sharing my babies. I know people love to hold babies, and who wouldn't want to hold mine. But I just have the hardest time letting others hold my babies. Don't like it one bit!!!
I look at Kaitlyn and Caleb and feel so blessed and grateful to my Heavenly Father for bringing them to our family. They have filled our home with more joy then I knew possible.
Lyla is a fantastic big sister. She loves her siblings so much, and always wants to be near them. She has been such a big helper, and has grown so much over the last few months. I am blessed.
