Daniel and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary this weekend. I can't believe how fast time has gone by, but at the same time, it feels like it has been this way forever. Strange!?!
Since we have been married, Daniel and I switch back and forth between Valentines Day and our anniversary with who is in charge. We don't do gifts, we just plan something to do together. This year I did Valentines Day, and Daniel was in charge of our anniversary.
We went to Shelby Farms to go horseback riding. It was such a beautiful day out, which was a change from all the rain we have been having. I have never been on a horse before, and so I was a little nervous, but also excited at the same time. It was an hour long ride led by a guide through a wooded trail.
We finished off the day with desert at the Cheesecake Corner which was absolutely delicious. It was a really good day. I couldn't have asked for anything more.

Congratulations! I'm so glad you went horseback riding. Your horse looked like a doll with all those spots.
I'm glad you guys had such a fun day. Congratulations!
I think that is a great tradition. Quality time must be one of your top love languages instead of gifts. Time is way more important to me than gifts, too. Congratulations on five years!
